- Personal Identity: Names, National ID Numbers (NIN), Dates of Birth, and Passport photos.
- Contact Details: Phone numbers (for Mobile Money integration), Email addresses, and Physical residence.
- Family Data: Details of spouses and children (for welfare coverage eligibility).
- Financial Data: Transaction history, Mobile Money logs, and Next of Kin details.
2How We Use Your Data
Transaction Processing
To automatically split your deposits (70/30) and update your balances in real-time.
Welfare Verification
To verify family relationships when processing claims for medical or bereavement support.
Transparency Reports
Generating anonymized aggregate reports for the Annual General Meeting.
3Third-Party Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Payment processors (e.g., MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money) strictly for transaction facilitation.
- Legal Compliance: If required by Ugandan law or a court order regarding financial investigations.
4Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as you are an active member of Munno Ddala SACCO. Upon termination of membership, financial records are archived for a minimum of 7 years as required by financial regulations, after which they are securely deleted.
